"A New Jamaica of Peace" is a Jamaican based Non-Profit Organization founded by Clarion Phillpotts and Hatshepsut Gray. A New Jamaica of
Peace was started in December 2013 as a feeding programme in Kingston, Jamaica. In April A New Jamaica started its after school programm at
the Iris Gelly Primary in Trench Town.
Sister Clarion volunteers three times a week working with children from three to eleven years. The
children are taught Spanish and Portugese in addition to Maths and English. Through this programm children who read below the required grade
level are given the individual attention necessary.
The children are also taught music and taken on field trips to increase their cultural
awareness and broaden their perspective. "Our children, no matter how poor their background may be, must have a greater belief in their own
potential in order to create A New Jamaica."
Sister Clarion is a single mother who believes in the teachings of Jesus. She is dedicated
to building the New Heaven and New Earth which is spoken of in the Book of Revelation. A New World based on the principles of Unconditional
Love and Charity.
"We can all do our part in the creation of a better society and in the advancement of the whole Human Race," says Sister
Clarion.
